Tables Test again!

This time I got my target fact right. I managed to get 7x9 right and almost all the rest. I finished it in 5:04 and got 99%. I got ONE I got wrong was 7x4 but I got the rest of the 7x4s right. It was the only one! Next time I'm going to try to get it in under 5 minutes.

My opinion:
I enjoyed the mint but I can’t stand chocolate so I didn’t like it too much. It was solid at the start but by the time I was half way through it was melted, soft and squishy.
My rating of it is 1/10.

Tables Test!

Today in maths we did a times table test and I got 95 out of 100 in 5 minutes and 31 seconds.
My goal is to be able to do the same test with 95% accuracy in under 5 minutes.
The fact I got wrong was 9x7 so i'm going to work hard on all of my 7's at home.

Pegasus!

This is another of my 100 word story and I worked on keeping tense the same. Hope you like!

]I didn’t realise they could fly! Tilting my head back I peered into the sunlight at the large animals. They flew around me, wings outstretched and glistening in the sunlight. I whirled around as a large Pegasus thumped on the ground around us. It steps forwards and I feel it's a warm breath on my hand. Tentatively, I reach up and rub his neck. All around us other Pegasus started landing, causing the ground to shake but I hardly noticed. Suddenly I gasped and pulled my hand back, realization in my mind. This was my horse! My horse could fly!

This is my horse animation. I had to draw the horse on the Chromebook so its not the best. Merlin and Olly are two of my favourite horses and are supper cute. Enjoy!

First day as year 8!

I have started in year 8 this year and so far its been great! I've have enjoyed getting back into the swing of things and its been great having the year 7s in our class. I love being year 8!

First day of Technology!

Today was our first day of tech for the year. My first class was electronics and i'm starting to make a light-box with a horse printed on the front. Next I went into plastics and over the term were going to be making clocks.

100 Word Story!

This week in literacy we have been doing 100 word story's and this is one of mine. Enjoy!

Belle

Although it was Sunday, nothing was open. I stumble slowly down the slim aly-way, my footsteps echoing through the streets. I reached the main road and was met by the sound of cars rushing past. My feet drag against the uneven pavement as I turn right into a dim driveway. I jump as I hear, “Belle!” and see a short girl run up and hug my neck, sobbing. Another figure follows and clips on my halter. I sigh and follow them into the stable, down the aisle and into my stall. It smelt safe. It was good to be home.

I have now know that I need to work more on spelling and keeping the tense the same throughout the story.

What I know now?

This week in our dance work I have learnt all about being a leader and team member.
I now know how to be a member of a team and how to also be a leader of a team. I know what to do, when to take charge and when to be lead. I have learned about being in a team about how to share ideas and have a leader but also everyone has a say in what happened. The most important thing about being in a group to me is commitment and communication. Now I know about being a leader and teamwork.
