My Amazing Story!

The wind rustled the leaves as the sunlight filtered through them casting light. Liam’s eyes flew open as the bright light fell on his face. Squinting, he pushed himself up from the hard, forest floor and glanced around at his surroundings. He was in a small clearing with trees all around him with nothing except a few bunches of flowers scattered and a small, blue, drawstring bag. Standing up completely he staggered over to the closest tree and used it to support himself his head aching. Noticing the bag he wobbled over and fell on his knees next to it. Seizing the bag in his bony hands he pulled it open and rummaged around inside it. Eventually he pulled out a small box that stored his syringe and vial that contained his medicine. Ripping it open he tipped out its contents with was: a tissue, a leaf and a few dead slugs. “NO” the cry ripped through his throat, tearing his insides apart. Pain overwhelming him he slumped sideways on the ground his head spinning. "No no, I can’t have run out" He thought "I need mor-" “Screaming he rolled sideways the pain in his head blinding him. The small box fell out of his limp hand as his whole body collapsed.

“There there, Look he’s there!” Shouted Gorge as the helicopter circled over the forest. “You fly” grumbled Bob as he thrust the headset at Gorge and peered out the misty window. Sure enough there in the middle of a clearing was small figure lying on it’s side not moving. “Ring the boys mum” he ordered Gorge “We’ve got him”. Far away on the other side of the forest and far away Lusy was busy making lunch when her cell phone rang making her jump. Drying her hands she picked it up and saw the fimila number of Bob who was out looking for her son. “Well” she demanded when she picked it up, “any news?”
